 rom the beginning, ANA has sought to create a flight training academy which would provide a steady source of highly trained pilots who regard safety as their highest priority. Safety is our promise to the public and is the foundation of our business.
Pilot candidates come to IFTA with little or no flight experience. Therefore, our training program utilizes the ab initio concept to train pilots with carefully specified procedures in order to prepare them solely for transport category aircraft in airline operations. Because of this, IFTA has specific procedures and rules of flight conduct that must be memorized and strictly adhered to, much like military cadet training.
These goals are achieved with the assistance of a highly qualified and knowledgeable staff that is committed to safety and professionalism in flight training.
