Aircraft Maintenance

IFTA's flight training fleet is supported by a staff of highly trained and experienced FAA Certified A&P Maintenance Technicians, who are provided (or contracted) exclusively to IFTA by Raytheon Aircraft Services of Bakersfield (RAS).

As an FAA approved Repair Station for Airframe, Powerplant and Avionics, RAS Bakersfield earned the FAA's highest achievement in maintenance training in 1998 with the Diamond Award.

Raytheon Aircraft Services' capabilities include:

• Full Airframe and Engine Inspections
• Major Sheet Metal Repairs
• Major Engine Repairs and Airframe Components
• Overhauls to include Landing Gear, Flap Actuators and Landing Gear Actuators

Avionics capabilities include:

• Bench Repairs of AlliedSignal Bendix/King Radios
• Installation of Major Avionics Components
