Cafeteria

The International Flight Training Academy has its own on-site dining facilities. Located just a few steps from the dormitory building, the cafeteria offers a unique dining experience.

Cuisine that is truly international is offered at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Trainees and staff alike can choose from a variety of traditional Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and American dishes.

Meals are self-serve buffet style from a hot serving line and a well-stocked salad bar. The salad bar can be a meal in itself, having not only salad, but a choice of two different soups.

The main dining hall has a total seating capacity of two hundred seventy. Seating is open and convivial at any of the several rows of tables.

Just off the main hall, separated by a set of double doors is a more private dining area. This area, with a seating capacity of sixty, is used for more private occasions. Visiting VIPs may choose from a formal dining table or a traditional Japanese tatami dining room.

The tatami room provides its own special atmosphere with sliding shoji doors and seating cushions. To enhance the dining experience, one wall of the tatami room is comprised of large windows that look out onto a walled, private garden.
